eurocoffee takes the personal data of visitors and users seriously. In this context, every effort is made to continuously reduce the need to collect personal data and to limit it to only the personal data that is absolutely necessary to complete the purpose of using the Network. Any collection, processing and storage of personal data is carried out after obtaining relevant permission from the user (voluntary).
The management and protection of the personal data of the Network user is subject to the terms of this Agreement as well as to those set forth in national, community and international law regarding the protection of individuals from the management of personal data, as applicable from time to time.
This version of the terms of protection of personal data (25-5-2018) was drafted taking into account the provisions of the General Regulation 2016/679 of the EU so that the Network fully complies with them and offers visitors/users the maximum possible security and information regarding their personal data managed by the Network.
Any future relevant regulation will be subject to this. In any case, the Network reserves the right to change the terms of personal data protection, in accordance with the relevant legal framework in force at any time.
Therefore, these privacy terms may be revised and updated at any time and without notice, although every effort is made to inform visitors when they enter the Network. Users of the Network are requested to check these terms at regular intervals for any changes, as the continued use of the Network’s services implies that they unconditionally accept all possible modifications thereof.
Important personal data information for you:
“Personal data” is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
a) The Network does NOT collect personal information from visitors except in the case of cookies.
As visitors to the Network, you can rest assured that absolutely no personal information of yours is stored or used by us.
b) The data controller with whom you can contact regarding any matter concerning personal data is the company with the name “MAKAKAS THEOFANIS & CO. OE” with headquarters in Kavalari, THESSALONIKI, 16th KM. P.E. THESSA-KAB, is available at the address info@eurocoffee.gr and will respond immediately to any of your questions.
c) The Network collects personal information of its users only when they voluntarily provide it.
You provide us with the above information voluntarily when you register as a user of the newsletter service or when submitting orders. This information remains in our possession and is used exclusively to serve the purposes (order completion / receiving newsletters) for which you have been informed and expressly consented by providing the relevant information.
The use of this data by the Network for informational purposes or for promotional actions or to make suggestions for new products or services to the user is done in two ways: a) after the user registers for the Newsletter service, or b) by granting permission (opt in) when submitting the order unless the latter does not wish to do so. The Network will under no circumstances sell or otherwise transfer or disclose personal information of the Network’s users to third parties, not related to it (the Network), without the user’s consent, with the exception of the application of relevant legal requirements and to the competent authorities only.
Your personal data is processed lawfully and fairly in a transparent manner in relation to you. It is collected for the specified, explicit and legitimate purposes above and is not further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes.
They are adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed. They are kept in a form which permits your identification and only for the period necessary for the purposes of their processing, which in no case shall exceed five years from the time of provision. In fact, for the best possible protection, it is encrypted with modern encryption methods.
As the subject of your personal data, you have the ability to request information about and access to your personal data from the controller, while you always retain the ability to modify or object to processing, as well as the right to transfer or delete your personal data. You also have the option to contact the Personal Data Protection Authority if you feel that any of your rights regarding personal data are being violated.
The Network includes links to other websites which are under the responsibility of third parties (natural or legal persons). In no case is the Network responsible for the terms of protection of personal data which these websites follow. The Network may process part or all of the data sent by visitors/users for statistical purposes and to improve the services – information provided.
The visitor/user may contact the Network in order to verify the existence of the personal file, its correction, change or deletion. The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679), any specific national and European legislation for certain sectors, the currently applicable Greek legislation on the protection of personal data, as well as on the protection of personal data and privacy in the field of electronic communications (Law 3471/2006, as applicable) and the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Authority (PDPA)”.

The Network may collect non-personal identification information of its users using corresponding technologies, such as cookies and/or Internet Protocol (IP) address tracking. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the hard drive of each visitor/user and do not take knowledge of any document or file from their computer.
