But by taking part in NESCAF\u00c9&#8217;s youth initiative, his attitude changed.<\/p><p>&#8220;The biggest progress for me was simply observing a cup of the coffee I was producing.&#8221; he reports. &#8220;Tasting it, getting to know the different flavors, reading about the colors and textures&#8230; everything was completely new.&#8221; Globally, less than 5% of coffee farmers are under 35 years old, as it is a profession that is not a preference for many young people.<\/p><p>Given a growing, global gap between the generations involved in coffee production, NESCAF\u00c9 coffee is
